Known for his tough play and crushing hits, it's no wonder Vladimir Konstantinov was nicknamed "The Vladinator." 

This design was created in honor of Vladdy's toughness on and off the ice. Since the accident that ended his career in 1997, he has remained in Detroit to keep up on his rehabilitation care. 

Proceeds from this design will go to the Konstantiov family to help with his ongoing care. So drop the gloves, grab this design, and you'll be doing some good for our hometown hero.

Do you remember 3/26/97? Of course you do! It was Fight Night at the Joe! In front of a sold-out crowd of 19,983 at Joe Louis Arena, the game featured 11 goals, 10 fights, 39 penalties, 148 penalty minutes, and an overtime goal by the man, Darren McCarty who had administered some Sweet Revenge in earlier in the night. Even though we can’t see the wings in person, we can rep them and style and comfort!

In 1956, an angry Maple Leafs fan telephoned two local newspapers before Game 3 with the following threat: worry about Howe and Lindsay tonight, going to shoot them.

If his plan was to throw Gordie Howe and Wings captain Ted Lindsay off their game, it backfired.

That night, Lindsay scored 2 goals, including the game winner.

Before leaving the ice, Ted Lindsay inverted his stick, cocked it like a rifle and skated around the ice of Maple Leaf Gardens, pretending to shoot Leaf fans. If I ever wanted two or three goals in my life, this was the night, Terrible Ted said afterward.

This graphic truly represents the legendary imagery of Hockeytown and pays respect to one of the greatest to ever play the game. I have a red version and love how comfortable this shirt is.
