The Blizzard of 1978

Blizzard of 1978 | Michigan | The Mitten State

On January 25th, 1978, a legendary blizzard struck Michigan. Snow piled high for days, shutting down schools, grocery stores, and highways. Snowmobiles became the only source of transportation.

And what did Michigan do?

We did what we always do: WE MADE THE MOST OF IT.

We partied. We got together with friends and family. We built snow forts.

And some of us were even born during the blizzard. Chances are, you know someone that was...

We had a massive snow fort and it was glorious!!!! I remember that photo of Snoopy somehow… I’m sure I’ve seen it online somewhere before in regards to the storm.
