The locally grown fleece is sustainable, eco-friendly and gentle on the land (Did you know alpacas have soft padded feet that don't damage the pasture?) The alpacas are humanely raised and each animal has its own fancy name, personality, and they thrive with Feighner's innovative and gentle socialization training program.

Feighner Family Farms also works closely with the Conservation District of Michigan to ensure their environmental impact is the least possible, and they are ranked in the top 5% of farms in the state. They are a women-owned and operated business, and you will find the whole family outside daily interacting and caring for the alpacas.
