About This Design:

Designed in Michigan | Made in USA | The MItten StateOh, boy.  This was one of those designs that took weeks to get right.  Our original Grand Haven T-Shirt was a one color print with typography set against a lighthouse beach scene.  When we set out to update it, we had a difficult time conveying the Grand Haven story that we had in mind.  It wasn't until the very end of the design cycle (we went through 50-60 variations) that we hit upon the GH sunset, a graphic that reminds us of the tranquility we feel every time we visit its white sandy beaches.  This particular design is perhaps more emblematic of the TMS theme than any other shirt: it communicates a subtle story/emotion and at the same time, stands alone as an interesting vintage graphic.

In 1992, Grand Haven was officially designated "Coast Guard City" by an act of Congress. The city on Lake Michigan is home to miles of sandy beaches, bike trails, a state park, and a Great Lakes port that imports limestone and exports... you guessed it, sand. Super soft print on a vintage t-shirt blend of 50/25/25. This Michigan shirt was designed and printed locally. Made in the USA.
