Designed in Michigan | Made in USA | The MItten StateWhen we think about Ann Arbor, two things come to mind: the famous university located there and (perhaps more importantly) the students that are largely responsible for its prestige.  It's the latter that we wanted to focus on (nevermind that our lack of licensing would prohibit the former).  Back in the 1960s and 1970s, America underwent a cultural revolution of sorts. Places like San Francisco and Ann Arbor became beacons of student activism, and it was in A2 that the Peace Corps got its start, something totally appropriate for a campus that would become iconic for its peace loving hippies. This particiular Ann Arbor shirt honors that tradition in a 1970s inspired style.

It was on October 14, 1960 that President Kennedy gave a speech to 10,000 cheering students, inspiring the start of the Peace Corps. During the 1960s and 1970s, Ann Arbor continued to be a hub of student activism, a reputation that still stands today. Super soft print on a vintage t-shirt blend of 50/25/25 (cotton/poly/rayon). This Michigan shirt was designed and printed locally. Made in the USA.
