About This Design:

Grand Valley Football Team Training in 1970sBased on an archive photo of the GVSU football team training together in the 1970s.  The date is an addition to the original design; we thought that combining the two elements tied together a very significant day in Laker history to the teamwork and comraderie necessary in becoming one of the most successful college programs in existence.

On September 15, 1973 a young GVSU football squad took the field and earned their first victory in program history. Years later, it has proved to be the starting point for one of the most successful programs in NCAA history. Go Lakers! This shirt was designed and printed in Michigan by The Mitten State.
