In 1988, under Coach Molde's leadership, the Broncos started the season with 5 dominating wins, including a win against the University of Wisconsin. A showdown with CMU later in the season set a record for attendance at Waldo Stadium. WMU went on to win an outright conference title and a bowl game victory in California. Go Broncos!
