About This Design:

Designed in Michigan | Made in USA | The MItten StateBack in the 1970s, t-shirt printing influenced t-shirt design much more than it does today.  Form followed function, and we like that.  This shirt attempts to re-create that process by using old school typography and classic arching for a vintage, collegiate feel.  The mountain top is a humurous nod to the city's name.  When we were conceptualizing the design, we happened to catch Mt. Pleasant's elevation and thought it was perfect.

Mount Pleasant is home to some of the best college students in the entire country. And while the city itself can live up to the second half of its name, the mountain part leaves us a little mystified. Upon closer inspection, the city's elevation is 771 feet! Now it makes sense!
