About This Design:

As a kid, I liked to draw a lot.  It was a bit of an obsession (along with Legos).  At some point during my teenage years, my attentions turned elsewhere, leaving my graphic skills out to pasture.  But for whatever reason, I persisted in doing a quick doodle of a thumbs up, usually on the corners of notebook papers during classes and lectures.  Like a lot of things, it evolved over the years.  When we set out to make an East Lansing t-shirt design, we'd been itching to get this thumbs up into our line.  It seemed like the perfect fit, given that one of us here at TMS spent some of his best years on campus there.

The Food Bank Council of Michigan secures and distributes monetary and food donations from Michigan citizens, growers and businesses to alleviate and prevent hunger among Michigan people.  For more information on this organization, click HERE.
