About This Design

Hell was first settled in 1838 by George Reeves and his family where he built a mill and a general store.  When farmers would come by to grind their flour, they'd help themselves to the whiskey still.  A little over-indulgence and it wasn't uncommon for carriages to return home without their drivers.  When the State of Michigan asked George what to call the town, he said "Call it Hell for all I care, everyone else does."

The Food Bank Council of Michigan secures and distributes monetary and food donations from Michigan citizens, growers and businesses to alleviate and prevent hunger among Michigan people.  For more information on this organization, click HERE.
